CalvinCare

Goal: $10,000.00

Specific Need

It costs about $2,000-$2,500 a year for basic upkeep of a Service Animal or Emotional Support Animal. This is for yearly exam, vaccinations, food, grooming, and certain necessary supplies.

A person that falls in the federal poverty guidelines doesn't have that much money to be putting toward their "Living Medical Equipment". They also most likely don't have enough funds to declare the expenses on their federal taxes each year. Could you imagine having to decide between paying your rent and taking your Service Animal or Emotional Support Animal to the vet? Should you eat or your "Living Medical Equipment" eat? Grooming sounds weird, but a Service Animal MUST BE GROOMED for public access! If you have a Service Animal from an organization that trained it, they may take the animal back for being late on basic medical treatment.

There is enough stress on these people, CalvinCare wants to help ease that stress, and take care of their helpers!

Mission

CalvinCare is an organization that provides financial assistance for owners in need of day-to-day expenses like veterinary visits, grooming, food, and approved supplies, for their Service Animals or Emotional Support Animals, for those who fall into the Federal Poverty Guidelines.
