Goal: $2,500.00
Specific Need
You can provide hope by ensuring everyone has enough to eat. Every $1 raised will help provide more than 3 meals for Loudoun and Northern Fauquier community members, like Gabby.
We recently met Gabby, a mother and business owner, picking up food at Loudoun Hunger Relief, a partner pantry in Leesburg (also participating in the Give Choose campaign). Gabby shared that, "Times are hard. Food prices are going up. And there's not a lot of work. I'm barely making rent and ends meet. Whatever's left, that's what you're going to buy [diapers] or food with. So, this extra helps."
Your support means the Food Bank can continue to provide nourishing, healthy food to the 21 partner food pantries and food distribution sites operating in Loudoun and Northern Fauquier counties. Thank you for supporting our collaborative efforts to provide free groceries and end hunger.
In the last fiscal year, when food insecurity threatened so many households across the nation, the Food Bank provided food to more than 8,000 households in Loudoun and Northern Fauquier on average each month (with more than half of those served youth under 18 or seniors over 60).
