Mission

We are a foster-based, all-volunteer organization that saves and improves the lives of vulnerable animals by providing care and placing adoptable animals into loving forever homes.

Profile

HSLC has been helping animals for 60 years.  HSLC has no paid staff nor a physical facility or shelter; all of our animals are in foster homes or in temporary boarding until they are adopted into their furr-ever homes.

Thanks to community support, HSLC helped thousands of animals in 2025:

• Over 150 cats and dogs fostered
• Nearly 150 community cats helped
• Over 7,000 animals fed via the Loudoun Pet Pantry

Please donate today so we can help more animals in 2026 and beyond. Thank you!
