Mission
Love, KK’s mission is to empower local small businesses, farmers, and the people in the community with an entrepreneurial spirit by providing awareness, educational assistance, resources, and learning experiences.
Profile
Love, KK was founded in honor of Kaeley “KK” Brady’s life and her passion for supporting local farmers, and small businesses. KK’s passion was ignited when she started working with Cheryl Strasser at Cowbell Kitchen, a local food truck and catering company in Leesburg, VA. KK became passionate about selling her smoothie bowls and recipes through Cowbell Kitchen and eventually became a partial owner. Through her time at farmers markets, KK cultivated a strong appreciation for collaborating with local farms and small businesses. She saw firsthand the significant difference that supporting local enterprises could make and made it her mission to spread the message of shopping locally. Her commitment to using local ingredients in Cowbell’s recipes not only fueled her work but also inspired those around her to recognize the value of local products. We work to keep KK's vision, passion, and style alive by empowering others with the same entrepreneurial spirit we saw in KK.
What We Do
Support Local Farms and Bakers with the Farm to Food Pantry
Together with our partners Cowbell Kitchen and Lucketts Community Food Pantry at Faith Chapel, Love, KK helps provide locally sourced nutritious food to members of our community in Leesburg and Lucketts—a year-round multi-year project since April 2020. So far, we have provided over 7,000 loaves of bread, over 38,000 pounds of produce, over 600 pounds of cheese, and over 400 quiches/pies/cookies to our friends at the Lucketts Community Food Pantry at Faith Chapel.
Boost Local buisnesses
We purchase products from local small businesses to include in our Acts of Kindness gift packages. These packages are sent to nominated Loudoun County residents who could use a little extra love and encouragement. Through this program, we’ve been able to brighten the days of over 400 individuals—all while intentionally supporting the small businesses that make our community so special. Nominate someone for an Act of Kindness HERE.
Whenever possible, we also look for additional ways to invest directly in local entrepreneurs.
