CFH Inc.

Goal: $2,000.00

Specific Need

CFH is working on the front lines to improve housing stability in Loudoun County, helping families navigate some of life’s most difficult transitions.

In communities like Leesburg Mobile Home Park, CFH is providing critical relocation and displacement services to residents facing the loss of their homes. Our team has supported families in finding the right new housing for them by assisting with downpayments, rentals and security deposits, moving expenses, and personalized housing guidance. These resources are helping make an overwhelming transition more manageable and helping families achieve critical housing stability.

Beyond displacement support, CFH continues to expand access to opportunity across Loudoun County. Through our Down Payment Assistance program, three first-time homebuyer families have achieved homeownership over the past two years — creating lasting stability for themselves and their families. We also provide security deposit assistance and senior emergency assistance, helping residents remain safely housed during times of financial hardship.

As the need continues to grow, CFH is working to expand the reach of our programs — including bringing additional resources like our mobile food pantry into Loudoun County to help combat food insecurity and support overall household stability.

Your support during GiveChoose helps CFH respond to urgent housing needs today while building stronger, more resilient communities for tomorrow.

Mission

CFH empowers individuals and families through a continuum of services to create a safe affordable home in which everyone has the opportunity to thrive and reach their potential.

Profile

Based in Manassas, CFH has been serving Northern Virginia communities for 47 years, helping individuals and families build foundations to housing stability and self-sufficiency. Founded in 1979 by Fr. Gerard Creedon and a group of Catholic laity in response to the U.S. Catholic Bishops’ Pastoral Letter “The Right to a Decent Home,” CFH was created on the belief that safe, stable housing is a fundamental human need.

Today, CFH provides a continuum of housing services designed to support households at every stage of their journey. Programs include security deposit assistance, senior emergency assistance, affordable rental housing, first-time homebuyer education, and down payment assistance, along with financial coaching and counseling to help families achieve long-term stability. CFH also addresses critical needs beyond housing through initiatives like its mobile food pantry, recognizing that food security is an essential part of overall well-being.

CFH has deep experience supporting communities through housing transitions and challenges, including work with residents of Leesburg Mobile Home Park.  CFH also purchased and manages the East End Mobile Home Park in Manassas, thereby saving it from condemnation and keeping 60 families in their homes. This hands-on expertise allows CFH to respond effectively to evolving housing needs across the region.

Guided by a diverse Board of Directors with expertise in business, development, architecture, financial services, and real estate, CFH remains committed to providing housing opportunities to all eligible individuals and families — regardless of race, ethnicity, creed, gender, familial status, or religious affiliation.

Through its long-standing commitment and comprehensive approach, CFH continues to create foundations for hope and stronger communities across Northern Virginia.
