Women and Girls Inspiring STEM Excellence (WISE)

Goal: $6,000.00

Specific Need

We are a non-profit that is seeking funds for operations, STEM Hub platform and marketing our free services.

Mission

We seek to inspire women and girls to excel in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) confidently to achieve and maintain success in their academic and professional lives.

Profile

Women and Girls Inspiring STEM Excellence (WISE) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization led entirely by volunteers. We are building a community-driven workforce development platform dedicated to informing, empowering, and uplifting women and girls in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).

While women earn a significant share of bachelor’s degrees overall, they remain underrepresented among STEM graduates. This underrepresentation limits the talent pool for high-demand technical fields and creates barriers to meeting workforce needs in technology, engineering, and the sciences. Addressing gender disparities early, both in K–12 education and in college, helps strengthen and diversify the STEM pipeline.

We are seeking donations to support our operations and to expand our STEM Hub platform, which connects women and girls to mentoring and tutoring programs, as well as internship and externship opportunities. Through WISE and the STEM Hub, we aim to create an environment where every woman and girl, regardless of background, can thrive and reach her full potential in STEM.

WISE is a 100% volunteer led organization.
